Privacy Policy

Last updated — June 2026

Your family’s privacy matters to us. This policy explains, in plain language, what information Bubzies collects when you shop with us, why we collect it, and the choices and rights you have over it.

Bubzies.com operates this store, including all related content, features, tools, products and services (the “Services”). This policy applies whenever you visit, use, make a purchase through, or otherwise communicate with us through the Services. If there is any conflict between our Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy, this Privacy Policy controls how we handle your personal information. By using the Services, you confirm you have read and understood this policy.

Information we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect or process the following kinds of personal information — the information that identifies or can reasonably be linked to you:

  • Contact details — your name, billing and shipping address, phone number and email address.
  • Payment information — your card or payment-account details, transaction details and payment confirmations (payments are processed securely by our payment providers).
  • Account information — your username, password, preferences and settings, if you create an account.
  • Order information — the items you view, add to your cart or wishlist, purchase, return, exchange or cancel, and your order history.
  • Communications — anything you include when you contact us, for example a customer-support message.
  • Device & usage information — your device, browser and network details, IP address, and how you interact with and navigate the Services.

Where we get your information

  • Directly from you — when you create an account, place an order, contact us, or otherwise provide your details.
  • Automatically — from your device when you use the Services, including through cookies and similar technologies.
  • From our service providers — who collect or process information on our behalf to help us run the store.
  • From our partners or other third parties — where permitted.

How we use your information

  • To provide and improve the Services — to process your payments, fulfil and ship your orders, manage your account, handle returns and exchanges, remember your preferences, recommend products, and improve how the store works.
  • Marketing and advertising — to send you marketing and promotional messages (where you’ve agreed or as permitted), and to show you relevant ads, including based on items you’ve viewed or added to your cart.
  • Security and fraud prevention — to authenticate your account, keep payments and shopping secure, and detect and prevent fraud or misuse.
  • To communicate with you — to provide customer support and respond to your questions.
  • Legal reasons — to comply with applicable law and respond to valid legal requests.

Cookies and similar technologies

We and our partners use cookies and similar technologies to run the store, keep you signed in, remember what’s in your cart, understand how the Services are used, and personalise and measure marketing. You can control or clear cookies through your browser settings, and manage certain advertising choices using the privacy controls in our website footer. Blocking some cookies may affect how parts of the store work.

How we share your information

We may share your personal information with third parties for legitimate purposes, including:

  • With vendors and service providers who perform services for us — such as IT, payment processing, analytics, customer support, cloud storage, and order fulfilment and shipping.
  • With business and marketing partners to provide marketing services and advertise to you, in line with their own privacy notices.
  • When you direct or consent to it — for example, to ship your order, or through social-media or login integrations.
  • With our affiliates or within our corporate group.
  • In connection with a business transaction (such as a merger), or to comply with legal obligations and protect our rights and the rights of others.

Third-party websites and links

The Services may link to websites or platforms operated by third parties. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, security or content of those sites. If you follow a link away from our store, we encourage you to read the privacy policy of every site you visit. Information you share on public or third-party platforms may be viewable by others.

Children’s privacy

Bubzies is a store for the grown-ups — the parents and caregivers shopping for their little ones. The Services are intended for adults and are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of majority in their region. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@bubzies.com and we will delete it. As of the date of this policy, we do not knowingly “sell” or “share” the personal information of anyone under 16.

Security and retention

No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, so please avoid sending sensitive information through unsecure channels. How long we keep your personal information depends on factors such as whether we need it to provide the Services, maintain your account, comply with legal obligations, or resolve disputes.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights over your personal information. These rights are not absolute and may apply only in certain circumstances:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Delete — request that we delete your personal information.
  • Correct — ask us to fix inaccurate personal information.
  • Portability — request a copy of your information or that we transfer it to a third party.
  • Opt out of sale, sharing or targeted advertising — where applicable, ask us not to “sell” or “share” your information or use it for targeted advertising, including via the privacy controls in our footer.
  • Manage marketing — unsubscribe from promotional emails at any time using the link in our emails. We may still send you non-promotional messages about your account or orders.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@bubzies.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights, and we may need to verify your identity before responding.

Additional rights for the UK & EU

If you live in the UK or European Economic Area, you may also have the right to object to or ask us to restrict certain processing of your personal information, and, where we rely on your consent, to withdraw that consent at any time (without affecting the processing carried out before withdrawal).

Complaints

If you have a concern about how we handle your personal information, please contact us first at support@bubzies.com. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to appeal our decision or lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

International transfers

We may transfer, store and process your personal information outside the country where you live. Where we transfer personal information out of the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on recognised transfer mechanisms, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent, unless the destination country is recognised as providing an adequate level of protection.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or for legal or operational reasons. When we do, we’ll post the updated policy here and revise the “Last updated” date above, and provide further notice where required by law.
